How do we reserve you for our date?
All dates are reserved once I receive your signed agreement and retainer.

What if we decide we want more time?
Overtime is billed at the rate of $120 per hour. 12 hours max.

What if don't use all our time? 
Wedding collections are all-inclusive and do not include discounts for unused time. 

If we cancel the wedding, will we receive our retainer back?
Unfortunately, no. The retainer is used to secure your date. Once booked, I do not accept new clients for your date and immediately start working to prepare the best client experience for you.

Are there travel charges?
Events within a 90 mile radius of Mankato, Minnesota are included at no additional charge. However, events that take place outside this service area will incur an additional travel charge of .58 cents per mile plus overnight accommodations. Please inquire for more details or a custom quote unique to your destination.

How many photos will we get?
Typically speaking you can expect roughly 50 photos per hour booked. I do not release raw images and the final gallery you receive has been throughly reviewed for quality. However, it's important to keep in mind that image quantity is not guaranteed and is greatly dependent on external factors like weather, light, client and guest cooperation, scheduling, timeline, etc.

Do you photograph destination weddings?
Of course! In addition to purchasing the wedding collection of your choice, destination weddings also incur transportation and lodging fees. Please inquire for more details or a custom quote unique to your destination.

Can we buy albums, wall art or prints from you?
Of course! Before I was a photographer I was a graphic artist and framer and worked in the printing and custom-framing industries for many years. I'm well-versed in all the latest trends and styles for prints, wall-art, and framing and more!

How much time do I have to book?
I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance. Keep in mind that unless your retainer is paid and agreement signed, your requested wedding date is still considered open and anyone can book it.

What happens if I lose my images?
After your event, images are loaded to your private online gallery where they will remain accessible for 3 months. During this time I recommend downloading them to your computer or saving them to a flash drive. After 3 months, they are removed from the online gallery and professionally backed-up on my secure, private drives. Image recovery at this point is a flat fee of $40 and 4 day turn-around time.

Are you insured?
Yes. Dickinson Media LLC is a fully insured and registered business in the state of Minnesota.

Can we get retouching done on our portraits?
Yes. All wedding collections include 10 retouched images. Standard retouching includes but is not limited to: the removal or flyaway hair, teeth whitening, acne removal, etc. Additional images will incur a charge of $5 per photo. Turn-around time is 72 hours.
